Wonder Gate is a brand new initiative of Campus Crusade for Christ Australia – formed with the purpose of expressing Jesus powerfully through film.
Our desire is to tell engaging stories that express the heart of Christ and appeal to audiences who have little or no experience with Christianity. We work with industry professionals of all faiths and world-views. We endeavour to be a part of the global conversation in film. Our intent is not to create a Christian filmmaking subculture, but to engage with anyone no matter what they believe, in a way that is open and respectful.
We hope our films will move you deeply and give you an intimate glimpse into the mysteries of Christ.
"The Parting Gift" is a 6 minute short film that illustrates the Christian perspective on how God relentlessly pursues all of us with His love.
The film is distributed within a mobile app that helps individuals use the film to easily explain Christianity to people who want to learn more about it.
The film is about a woman who leaves on a long journey without saying goodbye to the man she loves. She begins to fear he has given up on her, never realising he is fiercely pursuing her and only an arm's reach away...
