International China Concern (ICC) is a Christian development organization that brings love, hope and opportunity to children with disabilities and strives to end abandonment by keeping families together. Founded in 1993 by David Gotts, ICC’s vision is to Give Life, End Abandonment and Share values. Since its founding, International China Concern has successfully partnered with the Chinese government to develop social welfare services for China’s most vulnerable children. In February 2019, ICC was one of a handful of organizations to receive approval as a Foreign Non-Governmental Organization (FNGO) to work with children in China. ICC provides full-time, family style care for children in Changsha and Hengyang in Hunan Province. Alongside this, the Family Partners Program (FPP) seeks to provide life-changing support for families caring for children with disabilities. The goal of the Family Partners Program is to strengthen families and prevent abandonment. This program is the first of its kind in China. International China Concern Australia exists to encourage Australian supporters to participate in this life changing ministry and to play a part in God’s work in the nation of China.
